Through frustrations and perpetual disappointments, songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Keaton Walsh (Guitar, Vox) and Ben Robison (Bass, Vox) found each other in Keene, NH and joined forces to create music fueled by their mutual love of strong hooks, catchy choruses, infectious grooves, and dark melodic sounds. Through a shared bond of hardcore punk and thrash metal, they recruited drummer/percussionist Lucas Majer and became the alternative pop unit known as Stagnox in March of 2025. Drawing influence from several genres spanning pop, goth, punk, metal, and electronic music, they will ensure that they are heard loud and clear, demanding your attention and participation without asking for it.
Blowflies just released their first EP, titled "Hypnagogic Rope". It is currently available on Bandcamp and will soon hit major streaming services as well. The members are primarily KSC students, including May Cassidy on bass guitar and backing vocals, Alonzo Smith on lead vocals, and Nathan Welsh on guitar, with drumming provided by friend and ConVal music student Matthew Palmer.
Blowflies recorded their EP at the Elliot Center Studio with the aid of KSC faculty member, Peter Martel and B.M. Music Technology student Kyle Martin, who also did the mixing.
Doors are at 7pm and music will start at 8pm. This show is all ages and seating is limited and also first come first served.
Thanks to a grant from TD Charitable Foundation, this show has an Access For All option which lets you name your price (you can't buy multiples of this option at the same time, so to buy more than one ticket, it is necessary to do each additional ticket in a different transaction).
